Share Widget Enhancements
The Share widget has received some major upgrades that you may not have noticed. The widget interface now has a smoother flow and more attractive interface. Additionally, we've added several new share capabilities, allowing for potentially increased organic traffic and conversion rates.
New & Improved Icons
Two new layouts ensure that your social icons look great. The first layout sticks with traditional colors for the individual social networks. This helps site visitors find the button they're looking for quickly.
The second layout is more customizable, and allows you to match your share icon color to the color palette of your site. You can even use gradients!
WhatsApp Integration
WhatsApp is a hugely popular messaging platform with more than 1.5 billion users worldwide. Sharing with WhatsApp is now available in the Share widget.
More Enhancements for Simple and Easy Sharing
Enabling site visitors to share with friends, followers and contacts will result in increased traffic and visibility. Rounding out the enhancements, these additional new features allow for quicker and easier sharing:
- Smoother mobile experience - Visitors on mobile can share your site in a single click (previously, sharing on mobile was a 2-step process).
- Easier email share - Clicking on the email icon immediately opens the visitor’s default mail provider, which makes sharing by email even easier.
- Custom Titles - If you like, add a custom title to appear next to the share icons: Tell a Friend. Sharing is Caring. Spread the News.
- Hover effects - Draw more attention to the share icons on desktop by adding eye-catching hover effects.
